Purchasing a Protection Plan

  • My item was on sale. Can I get a Protection Plan for the full replacement value?
    Your ezTech24 Plan is limited in value to the purchase price of your item, and we generally ask you to use the actual price paid for your item when purchasing a protection plan.
  • How long do I have to buy a ezTech24 Protection Plan?
    You can buy a protection plan anywhere before 30 days of your item purchase. This applies to both standard and accidental plans.
  • What types of items are eligible for coverage?
    Broadly speaking, ezTech24 offers coverage for daily consumer items. We can also cover websites, point of sale systems, fire panels, and even car audio components.
  • Where are Protection Plans available for purchase?
    ezTech24 protection plans are available to residents of the U.S. Online or at any one of our service providers/affiliates.
  • Do you need the serial number of my item?
    Yes, ezTech24 does need serial number when item is purchased, just in case something goes wrong with your item we need to verify with serial number,model, and make.
  • Can I renew or extend my protection plan contract?
    Currently not, Once the warranty comes to its expiration date, the warranty will be completed, and coverage for your item will end. Your choice to purchase another protection plan.
  • I'm giving a gift. How should I buy the protection plan for the gift?
    It's usually best to buy the protection plan in your own name first. Once you have given the gift, you can simply transfer the protection plan to that person, free of charge.
  • In which states is ezTech24 required to charge sales tax?
    By state law, we are obligated to collect sales tax in 24 of the 50 United States, as well as the District of Columbia.
  • What do I use as the purchase date for pre-ordered or back-ordered items?
    For items pre-ordered before their actual release date, or items delayed in shipping due to stock or back-order issues, you should use the charge date or shipment date of the item.
